PV Iodine Throat Spray Effective as Prophylaxis Against CV19

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8056783/

Conclusion: Chemoprophylaxis with either oral hydroxychloroquine or povidone-iodine throat spray was superior to oral vitamin C in reducing SARS-CoV-2 infection in young and healthy men.

A potential short-term barrier to prevent nasal and throat pathogen ( bacterial, viral, fungal, protozoal) airborne infections.

Make a 1% Betadine solution using 10% PV Iodine( Betadine) you can purchase from a pharmacy.

1 oz 10% Betadine + 9 oz water.

Gargle 1/2 oz the 1% solution for ~ 60 secs.

Place another 1 ounce /30 ml in a nasal spray/atomizer bottle ( Amazon) and spray twice in each nostril and inhale.

The iodine will kill any pathogens, including SARS-COV-2 , and will coat the epithelial cells lining the nasopharynx blocking entry of pathogens into ACE-2 enzyme receptors.

Omicron mainly infects ACE-2 enzyme receptors in the nose and throat, not the lungs.

Have all family members use iodine nose and throat sprays/gargle as a prophylaxis to prevent airborne pathogenic infections.

PV Iodine aka Betadine is safe and has been used in hospitals as a disinfectant for over 150 years. Iodine is also a necessary element for the thyroid gland and essential to immune defense.

The FDA’s recommended daily allowance for Iodine is 125 micrograms/day. This is 1000 x lower than what Japanese/Koreans eat via seaweed consumption on a daily basis.

Dr Guy Abraham MD wrote 20+ articles on Iodine Supplementation and states that the RDA is set way too low.

Iodine also supports the immune system.
125 micrograms will support the thyroid but we need 12.5 mg/day to support the entire body’s immune system.
